MCL AT 2024 WINDEUROPE’S CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION
On March 19-22, 2024, CEO Mykola Gerasymenko and Business Development Director Kateryna Knysh took part in the international conference and exhibition WindEurope, which was held this year in Bilbao, Spain. For more than three days, MCL has been at the epicenter of active discussions of the European wind energy community.
Despite the need to expand the network of MCL partners and clients, we also attempted to demonstrate the existence, functioning, development, and openness of the wind energy market in Ukraine during the event. Both formal meetings and informal communication, as well as some sessions of a large conference, are shaped by this intention. Thus, Kateryna Knysh chaired two important sessions of the event: 1. “Financing wind energy projects at high-interest rates” with the participation of the European Investment Bank, the International Finance Corporation, Statkraft, Brookfield Asset Management, and the International Sustainable Finance Centre; 2. “Investing in the Ukrainian wind energy market today” with the participation of Ukrainian developers and, MCL’s partner, law firm LCF Group.
Our company’s participation in the conference this year has enabled us to establish new partnerships and strengthen our relationships with existing international and national partners.
We want to thank the WindEurope team for organizing an international event of this scale professionally and for welcoming us warmly in Bilbao. We are thankful also to the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association for its contribution to Ukraine’s wind market representation in the European wind energy arena.
