Volodymyrets WPP: Green Energy with Social Responsibility
On March 3-4, 2025, the team of MCL PROJECT LLC visited the Volodymyrets community in Rivne region, engaging with local residents to discuss the social aspects of the planned construction of the 72 MW Volodymyrets WPP and to assess its potential impact on the social and cultural fabric of the community.
During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of the community in the project’s vicinity. The survey encompassed interviews, focus groups, and individual discussions with key community members, including social leaders, local farmers, women and spouses of farmers, as well as representatives of educational, medical, and non-governmental (NGO) organizations.
These engagements were conducted as part of the preparation of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Report, which is carried out in compliance with leading international standards, including:

About the Project
The Volodymyrets WPP is a wind energy project located in the Varash district of Rivne region, outside populated areas but in proximity to the villages of Lyubakhy, Dovhovolia, Berestivka, and Volodymyrets. The first phase of the project has a total capacity of 72 MW. The project has successfully completed the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) procedure and obtained technical conditions for grid connection.
