Ukraine stands out among many European countries due to its robust wind potential, with average annual wind speeds reaching 7-8 m/s at a height of 120 meters, and its relatively even distribution across the country. Wind energy has become a top priority in European energy policy, ranking among the top five sectors with the highest added value. This sector promises rapid and substantial growth for the national economy, enhances the competitiveness of export-oriented industries, and supports the decarbonization of businesses. Wind power is highly scalable and can be seamlessly integrated with solar power. Additionally, it can be utilized to produce alternative fuels such as “green” hydrogen.
MCL Group LLC currently boasts a portfolio of wind energy projects at various stages of development, with a total capacity exceeding 300 MW located in Western Ukraine. Prior to the full-scale invasion, our team developed over 700 MW of wind energy projects as a contractor. Today, we offer opportunities for collaboration on both joint development and the purchase of RtB project.
